VTPL Library Trustees are appointed by the Hancock County Commissioners, Hancock County Council, and the Mount Vernon Community School Corporation.
Board meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Vernon Township Public Library. (Complete schedule available here.) The Library Board welcomes public engagement, and allots 15 minutes each meeting for community feedback. Individuals who wish to speak must complete and submit a ‘Request to Speak’ form to a board member prior to the meeting. The 15 minute segment will be divided by the number of persons requesting to speak.
