Batik is not a cloth but a breathing work of culture, history and art. It is a centuries-old textile tradition, the batik was born on the island of Java, Indonesia and wax and dye meet to form beautiful patterns full of meaning. We will translate these art techniques and designs to a ceramic tile using specialty glazes. Join us and immerse yourself in this ancient art.
